From the Home Show to the Parade of Homes to the Shoebox Program to Lunch & Learns, our staff and membership work hard to execute fundraising and networking events in our community. Each event and program have opportunities to get involved: volunteer on a committee/council, attend the events, advertise in our publications and market your company through sponsorships. CARE ENDOWMENT: AHBA's charitable arm. Funded by pledges from members; the Endowment gives back to the while building awareness and raising the profile of Anchorage’s homebuilding industry.
ECONOMIC SUMMIT: Annual luncheon to review the state of the Anchorage housing market, with keynote speaker, Rob Dietz, NAHB's Chief Housing Economist.
GOLF TOURNAMENT: This annual event is a fun day out of the office enjoying a round of golf while networking with builders and fellow members.
HOME SHOW: See the latest trends and innovations each spring. Attend educational seminars and talk to the experts about all of your home, remodeling and gardening needs.
MERRY FESTIVUS: Support our members who put together backpacks for children in need of Christmas presents.
HOME TOUR EVENTS: The Spring Construction Showcase and the Parade of Homes are Anchorage’s largest open house events. With entries from Eagle River to Girdwood, you will see the best Anchorage builders have to offer.
POKER TOURNAMENT: A competitive night out with fellow members - enjoy a Cinco de Mayo dinner, a fun game of poker and as always, networking opportunities.
LUNCH & LEARN: Receive an update on AHBA, network with fellow members and learn more about an industry related hot topic.
