Thank you to Robert Dietz, Ph. D. for giving the keynote presentation during today's Economic Summit.
Despite population decline in Anchorage, housing prices have continued to rise, due to a lack of land, regulatory fees and increased cost of goods. An aging workforce shows that we need to be proactive in creating a new generations of workers for the home building industry. Robert anticipates that interest rates will go up two more times before the end of 2018 and then three times in 2019.
