2022 Primary Election Summary of Candidates & Legislative Bill Report
The AHBA and ASHBA team has prepared a summary of candidates for Alaska’s State House and State Senate Primary races (below). Please note that each of the Senate and House district letters/numbers are linked to their respective 2022 May Interim Proclamation maps in effect for the 2022 election. Due to retirements and district pairings, you’ll see that 20 of the 59 races have no incumbent.
Also below please find a summary of legislation ASHBA has tracked over the course of the 32nd Alaska Legislature. Note any bill that did not pass by the Legislature’s May 18 adjournment are now “dead”.
