AHBA Member Eric Visser Named Top Forty Under 40
Pro Builder, a publication by the National Association of Home Builders, named Eric Visser as one of its Top Forty Under 40. Visser is the CEO of Visser Construction, the past president of the Anchorage Home Builders Association, and past president of the Alaska State Home Building Association.
“Eric is a big part of Anchorage’s building community. Not only is he passionate about the housing industry, but he also cares about Alaskans,” said Andre Spinelli, president of AHBA. “He’s a leader at AHBA and in the Anchorage community.”
As a member of AHBA, Visser advocates for smart building regulations. He’s also actively involved in the AHBA Care Endowment which raises money and volunteers to help Alaskans in need of safe, healthy housing.
Visser started Visser Construction in 2016. The company employs 25 employees during peak construction months. The company has built or renovated nearly 200 units in the Anchorage area. Visser is also involved with the Cold Climate Housing Research Center and Alaska Center for Appropriate Technology.
